Spiritual anemia comes from not knowing or "getting" who God really is. As humans we can't ever fully grasp who He is, only occasionally grasp a glimpse of His attributes.
-God is Holy. "Holy, holy, holy" demonstrates perfection in threes. He is perfectly "set apart". (revelation 4:8) (isaiah 6:3)
-God is Eternal. He is outside of time. He *created* time! We must not limit God to only what we can perceive because that "god" is too small. (isaiah 26:4) (psalm 103:17)
-God is All-knowing. Nothing we do surpises God, and theres no way to be two-faced with Him. (1 corinthians 4:5) (hebrews 4:13)
-God is All-powerful. Everything is FOR Him. God doesnt owe us anything, and He doesnt need to explain Himself to anyone. He just IS. (daniel 4:35) (colassians 1:16, 17)
-God is Fair and Just. Justice for humans would end in eternal damnation because frankly, thats all we deserve. God never ignores or excuses sin. "fair" is getting what you deserve, and since all have sinned and the payment for sin is death, then all must die. (but, thats not the end of the story!). (romans 3:23, 6:23, 7:23) (john 3:16-19)
1.3 coming soon, hopefully it wont take me a month to read the next section!

Crazy Love chapter 1.1
So after a hiatus I was rather alarmed how quickly I lost the habit of reading my Bible... So, I'm back to blogging. This time, instead of a expository study, I'm going to be reading through the book Crazy Love, by Francis Chan.
1) stop praying.
stop talking AT God, but instead, realize (to a tiny extent) who He is. Romans 1:20-through creation we see His invisible attributes, even His eternal power and Godhead.
RC Sproul said "Men are never duly touched and impressed with a conviction of their insignificance, until they have contrasted themselves with the majesty of God."
Psalm 19:1-the heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork.

88/60 Revelation 18-22
Last day!
The basis of all good action movies... the bad guys lose, the good guys win and everyone lives happily ever after. Except the bad guys are actually pure evil and they are burned up forever (20:10), the good guys become righteous (21:7), and everyone left LITERALLY lives happily ever after (21:4). Oh, and the main guy even gets the girl! Sorta... (19:7). See, action movies are just a rip off of Christianity!
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. (22:21)

87/90 Jude 1-Revelation 17
Tomorrow will be my last day, the 90 days actual gives you 2 "grace days" so technically it's 88 days...
But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, kkeep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life (Jude 1:20)
Revelation is just weird to me. I can't really make heads or tails of half of it... The letters to the churches though, are pretty clear and applicable it seems to me.
Ephesus-forgotten your first love
Smyrna-enduring persecution
Pergamos-compromising the truth
Thyatira-sexual corruption
Sardis-weak and dying
Philadelphia-faithfulness
Laodiceans-lukewarm and undecisive

85/90 Hebrews 1-James 3
We spent several months going through Hebrew, so it's hard to go pick out bits and pieces without writing a whole commentary on the book.
Jesus didn't come to get rid of the law, but to fulfill the law. The priests in the old testament had to go daily to offer sacrifices, but but Christ dying as a sacrifice and then rising from the dead, He is the ultimate, FINAL sacrifice! (7:25-27)

84/901 Thessalonians 1-Philemon 1
Getting close! Excited that I actually got this finished, I can't say how many times I decided to read through the Bible and quit about halfway through Exodus.
Paul has somewhat of a pattern to his letters... Greetings, grace to you and peace through our Lord Jesus Christ, and then thanking God for the fellowship of believers.
Ah, the ongoing debate about modesty. What is modest for a woman? Skirts to the floor? Below the knee? Below the fingers? The Bible doesn't say. What is DOES say is that a woman should adorn herself, but in moderation. Not with expensive clothes and elaborate hairdos, but in a way that shows her godly heart (2:9-10).
Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. 1 Tim 4:12
